Pricing
No surprise charges. Here's what it costs, in plain English — and if the cheaper option is the right one for your business, we will say so.

Pro
Up to 9 pages$199 / mo
- Up to 9 pages
- 5 content update requests a month
- A bespoke design on our Pro base, built around your business — not picked from a lineup

- Your Google Business Profile checked weekly for new reviews and wrong details
- A monthly report, written by a person, on what the site and the profile did that month
- Additional plugins case-by-case, at extra cost
Every tier is also available as a one-time purchase — the fine print ↓
Pro is a bespoke design on our Pro base, not a theme from the lineup. Our own site is the live example: sodastack.dev
Your web address is not included in either figure, because it is not ours to sell you. A standard .com runs about $12–$15 a year, billed to you by the registrar, and it is registered in your name, not ours. That means you own it. If you ever leave us, the domain goes with you — we do not hold it, we do not charge you to release it, and there is nothing to negotiate on your way out.
On email, so there is no confusion. On Pro your site carries a contact form, and the delivery of those messages to your inbox is set up through a sending service and tested before launch. On Basic your contact details sit on the page instead — designed, and with your address assembled in the visitor's browser so address scrapers come away with nothing — and a form is quoted separately if you want one. Sending email OUT to a list of your own — a newsletter, an announcement to your customers — is not part of any plan today. If a mailing list matters to you, say so before you buy rather than finding out later.
E-commerce
A Shopify storefront for businesses whose numbers say they need one — catalogue, checkout, and Shopify's own reports so you know what is actually selling.
Shopify store build
One offering, no tiersFrom $500 / mo
- Store design and setup on Shopify
- Product catalogue and collections
- Secure Shopify checkout
- Payments, shipping and tax configuration
- Shopify's sales and product reports
Also available as a one-time build — the fine print ↓
The store runs on your own Shopify account. Shopify's subscription is billed by Shopify, separately from and in addition to our fee — the platform is yours, on your account, from day one. Shopify apps are billed by their vendors, and many price by usage — so app costs vary and tend to scale with what the store sells. That is different from a WordPress site, where plugin licensing is a flat fee.
Add-ons
Both tiers can grow past their limits — priced individually, in writing, before the work starts.
Extra pages
Priced individually
A flat per-page fee for pages beyond your tier's limit, quoted before we build them. Products in a store do not count as pages, however many you add — nor do blog posts or the pages a theme needs to work, such as Shop, Cart and Checkout.
Additional plugins & integrations
Case-by-case
Plugins beyond the included email and payments are scoped and priced case-by-case, in writing, before anything is installed.
The fine print
The Client Onboarding Fee
$1,000, flat, on any subscription — the same for every package, at every tier. Most customers never pay it, because signing the subscription contract removes it.
- Waived in full when you sign the 12-month auto-renew subscription contract. Not collected and refunded later — simply not charged.
- Charged, and non-refundable, month to month — there is no contract term to waive it against.
- Payable if you walk away part-way through the build, since the waiver depends on the contract actually being signed.
- Settled once, ever — paid or waived. Come back a year later and you do not pay it again; you only need onboarding once.
- Never charged again when you add another package later.
The Handoff Kit
$1,000, on the one-time path only. Handing a site over properly is real work — the Kit is that work, priced up front.
- Due at signing, before anything is delivered, and non-refundable — it is what lets us start the work knowing you are serious.
- Covers the handoff itself: the transfer, training for whoever runs the site, a live walkthrough on a call, and a good-to-go check before we close the contract.
- The build price is separate, and is billed when you approve the design.
- The transfer completes when that payment clears — you get the keys, we close out, and the site is entirely yours.
Every package can be bought two ways — as the monthly subscription shown on its card, or outright as a one-time build — and you pay one or the other, never both. On the subscription, sign the 12-month auto-renew contract and the onboarding fee is waived outright, so the monthly figure is the whole cost of the plan. On the one-time path, the Handoff Kit is due at signing, the build price is billed when you approve the design, and the transfer completes when that payment clears.
The subscription includes hosting, SSL, daily backups, an uptime check, blog setup, Google Analytics on an account you own, a monthly allowance of content update requests and Customer Care — defined just below. The one-time handoff includes none of those, because you are hosting and maintaining it yourself.
What Customer Care means
Not a help desk and not a 24/7 line. It is a short list of things we do on business days, and we put the list in writing so you can hold us to it.
- Content update requests handled within two business days of receiving them — your tier sets the monthly allowance.
- Email us to cancel and we confirm in writing within two business days.
- An uptime check that alerts us when the site is unreachable. That is a check, not a guarantee — see the Terms.
- On Pro: your Google Business Profile checked weekly for new reviews and wrong details.
- On Pro: a monthly report, written by a person, on what the site and the profile did that month.
Basic gets the first three. There is no Customer Care on the one-time path, because there is nothing on our side left to look after.
Contracts are written around what you actually need and may change with the request. Final pricing is always on your contract before any work starts.
